When is the deadline to RSVP?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by December 1st, 2026.
What is the parking situation?
There is a parking lot right next door to our ceremony at Woodside Bible Church. It is on the west side of the building at 100 W Alexandrine St. For the reception, parking will be available on site at Petruzzello's.
What is the dress code?
The attire for the ceremony and reception is semi-formal.
For men this means a suit with dress shirt and jacket/blazer. No jeans.
For ladies this means a knee-length (or lower) dress, or pantsuit.
The bridal party will be wearing dark green dresses, so please refrain from matching with them, and please leave white for the bride!
Will there be alcohol served?
There will not be any alcohol served at our wedding, but we have many other fun options to choose from! We will be providing mocktails, gourmet coffees and teas, as well as juices, soda, and water.
Where do you suggest we stay?
We have a room block reserved at the Detroit Marriott Troy on Big Beaver Rd, close to the ceremony, and even closer to the reception! Please note that the rooms in the block at the listed rate are first come first served and there is a limited amount. See the travel page of our website for more info.
Will there be any transportation provided?
We will not be providing any transportation to or from the ceremony or reception.
Will there be a quiet space available at the reception?
Yes. Mothers with children and guests who need some quiet time will have access to a private space upstairs in Petruzzello’s mezzanine.
Where are you registered?
We’re registered at Williams Sonoma, Target, Amazon, and the Knot! We have all of our registries conveniently combined on the Registry page of our website.
Are we able to bring plus ones?
We’ve sent personal invitations for each guest, so please RSVP only for the people named on your invitation. Thank you!
Can we take photos on phones during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you refrain from being on your phone during the ceremony, including taking pictures. This is in an effort to have everyone present during this important moment, as well allowing our photographer and videographer to get clear, cell phone free, shots.
What are the food options?
We will be serving a brunch buffet including both traditional breakfast and lunch items. Gluten free options are available.
When should guests arrive to the ceremony?
We ask that you arrive to our ceremony at Woodside Bible Church in Detroit at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to park and find your seat. We will begin the ceremony promptly at 10am, and those who arrive late will be asked to wait outside as to not disrupt the ceremony.
When should guests arrive to the reception?
You are welcome to arrive to our reception at Petruzzellos as early as 12:00pm for our coffee hour! We ask that you arrive no later than 1:00pm to the reception.
